Therapy often involves assessment and treatment. After rapport is established, goals are identified and focused in subsequent sessions. Therapy can be both short or long depending on the complexity and number of issues identified.
Privacy and confidentiality are maintained and are of utmost importance. It is our responsibility to ensure your journey of therapy is a smooth, insightful and safe one so that you are relieved of distress and experience an improved wellbeing.
Telehealth options are available if you can’t make it in person.
Our Fees
The Australian Psychological Society's recommended price for a 50 minute session is $311. Our standard fees are significantly less than this to make sessions more affordable for clients to access mental health care services. Our fees are:
Standard (before 5 pm) 50-minute session $230
After-hours (after 5 pm) 50-minute session $250
Saturdays 50-minute session $260
Rebates
If you have a Mental Health Care Plan from your general practitioner (GP), a Medicare rebate of $96.65 per session. You can claim Medicare rebates for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.
You may be able to claim some of the fees with your Private Health Fund. Please contact your health fund about eligibility criteria.
Cancellations
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give us at least 24-hours notice. Unfortunately, if this is not given, the usual full fee will be charged. Medicare rebates cannot be accessed for these appointments.
